I read my first manga (Japanese comic) last week! The problem is that it's not finished! So, I excitedly devoured eight thousand pages, so that I can impatiently wait for an 18 page update every seven days. It's pure torture. It reminds me of the days when I was obsessed with primetime network television. The weekly showing of Desperate Housewives was as gold. It became too unhealthy though and that's why I stopped. Plus, commercials are agonizing. It's better to wait for a show/comic to be completely finished BEFORE you start reading it! I really enjoy words like eternity, destiny, forever, perfect and everlasting. They are definitely not attainable dreams though and that's all they ever are anyway; dreams. "I'll love you forever." I hate saying this. It's not something you can promise. My last romantic partner wanted and expected me to tell her this. It was the fact that I wouldn't use the word "forever" and she couldn't grasp the idea that I didn't like making empty promises. Which brings up the quandary of love; I'll save that for another journal. But then others argue that "forever" is a slang term meaning "till I die", but for me this completely cancels out it's true mea
